WELCOME 2026 HURRICANE SWim team

  • HEY BUSINESS OWNERS ! 

    Sponsor the team and get some cred for your business or service. Proceeds support team t-shirts, medals and trophies, swim team banner, special events and more. 

    VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME

    Swim team is a parent-driven organization and many volunteers are needed to run a meet.  Being a volunteer in swim team related activities can get you involved and help provide a valuable experience in a young person’s life.  So get involved, have some fun, and show support for the team.

    Volunteer positions include:

    • Timer (time the races of an assigned swim lane)

    • Stroke and turn judge (simple on-line training through NSL)

    • Clerk of Course (organize swimmers before their race)

    • Starters (simple on-line training through NSL)

    • Meet Referees (simple on-line training through NSL)

    • Host

    Support your child by bringing them to practice, making sure they are prepared for the meets, and cheering loudly for them and the team.

  • One of the most attractive parts of our membership is the ability to participate on the Langford Farms Swim Team.

    We are excited to welcome back Head Coach Tamara, and Coach Kaitlyn

    The Hurricanes compete against teams in the Nashville Swim League (NSL), a competitive summer league, and is open to all members from ages 5 to 18.

    To participate, children must be able to safely swim a length of the pool unassisted. They are permitted to stop for a quick rest but must maintain forward motion.  Swim lessons are also offered for those not yet ready. See the swim lesson tab for more information.

    And, don't forget the membership  The Nashville Swim League (NSL) requires that all participants be a member of the club they swim for.  On-line registration for membership is available under the membership tab.

    Participation is available to club members only.  A current yearly or Summer 2024 membership should be in effect prior to attending practices.

    2024 SWIM TEAM REGISTRATION FEES:

    • Fees include practices

    • Coaching, 

    • Meet and league fees 

    • Team T-shirt

    • Swim team caps

    • Swim team awards and ceremony.

    Swimmingly App Fees and City Meet fees will be paid separately .

    Leage Fees:  

    • First Child:    $125

    • Additional swimmer:     $100


    A partial league fee is available to swimmers ages 15-18 who have a practice conflict due to work or sports but would like to participate in meets.  Must be legal in all 4 strokes. Contact the club for  more information.

    Membership and league fees must be paid prior to participation on team practices or swim team meets.

SWIM TEAM FAQs

  • CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR LESSONS!

    The Langford Farms Club offers private swim lessons, for children ages 3 and up.  In a private lessons:

    • We can tailor curriculum to the level of the swimmer

    • Swimmers learn at their own pace

    • You get 30 minutes of on-on-one attention

    REGISTER FOR SUMMER SWIM LESSONS: 

    2025 swim lesson registration will be available in late May 2025.


    Swimming is also a great hobby and a valuable life lesson where they learn important survival skills, great techniques, and the crucial habits of water safety. Lessons will be taught by our assistant swim team coaches so it's a great opportunity for children interested in progressing to more competitive swimming as we will teach the fundamentals of swim strokes


    Lessons will be offered during the months of June and July. 

    • Member Rate:  $225

      • (4) 30-minute lessons

    • Non-Member Rate: $250

      • (4) 30-minute lessons.

    To receive the member rate you must have a current year-round membership, 2025 summer membership, or be enrolled in at least 3 weeks of the LFC summer camp program to complete lessons while at camp

    After registration and payment, you will receive confirmation that your registration has been received. We will begin scheduling lessons in late May with priority for members and camp families in early scheduling.
